Reclaimed, Antique Stoves by
 Jimmy Belvin
JImmy is originally from Artesia New Mexico. Until the last few years he had been in the livestock business all his life. Ranches, feedlots and cattle buying. About ten years ago he was in the Northeast buying replacement dairy heifers for local dairies in west Texas and Eastern New Mexico. During his spare time he noticed the ornate stoves in the antique stores. JImmy has always liked old stoves. He had been around them on ranches and knew how to cook on wood ranges. But he had never seen any like the ones in New England.  I thought they would sell well back home. After several more years in the stressful feedlot business he decided to try the stove restoration and went back east and bought a load of stoves. It has worked well for him and is a very satisfying selling beautiful and useful pieces of history to antique lovers.

These Antique Stoves are best seen in person.  It is the only way to truly appreciate the work that has gone into refubishing them.  Jimmy Belvin has a variety of stoves, from cookstoves to pot belly stoves to little parlor stoves.  They are incredible pieces of history and we are proud to be carrying these beautiful, authentic works of art.
